Kelly has worked for more than twenty years on agricultural water quality and resource conservation programs.  Kelly began her career working with Farm Bureaus and Resource Conservation Agencies to help establish a voluntary, farmer-led program on the Central Coast of California.  She started with the Dixon Resource Conservation District in 2006 and assumed the role of District Manager in 2020, serving a board of five local farmers and ranchers whose primary mission is to provide drainage and conservation related services and programs to the local agricultural community.  This has included assistance with agricultural leases on the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area, administering the Dixon/Solano RCD Water Quality Coalition as well as involvement in regional drainage and the groundwater sustainability planning.   Kelly graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1996 with a B.S. in Agricultural Business that included coursework in Australia.  Kelly is grateful to be living and working in the Dixon community.
